Personal Success Plan (PSP)
Equip Every Learner with a Roadmap for the Future of Work
The Renzulli Personal Success Plan (PSP) turns self-knowledge into action. Students identify strengths and interests, set meaningful goals, and build the durable human skills—executive function, creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and communication—that set them apart in an AI-accelerated world.
Why PSP Matters in the Age of AI
Automation is changing tasks across nearly every career. The edge now belongs to students who can think critically, create original solutions, manage their work, and learn autonomously. PSP helps students practice these capabilities every week—connecting classroom learning to real pathways in college, CTE, and the workforce.
How the PSP Works: Think • Dream • Plan • Succeed
- Think – Students use the Renzulli Profiler to surface strengths, interests, and learning preferences, then reflect on habits and executive function (planning, organization, working memory, self-regulation).
- Dream – Learners explore role models, career clusters, and emerging fields shaped by AI, turning curiosity into authentic project ideas.
- Plan – With teacher guidance, students create a living plan with short- and long-term goals, milestones, and evidence. PSP artifacts align easily to counseling and ECAP/ILP requirements.
- Succeed – Students execute projects, present work, and track outcomes, building a portfolio that showcases creativity, problem solving, leadership, and persistence.
What Students Gain
Executive Function, on purpose: Weekly goal cycles (plan → do → review) grow focus, time management, and follow-through.
Creativity & innovation: Structured prompts and product menus develop original thinking; creativity can be assessed with RL’s tools and reinforced through project-based learning.
Career clarity: Interests connect to high-demand pathways (including AI-impacted roles), with next steps in coursework, CTE, internships, and postsecondary options.
Confidence & agency: Students see progress, revise strategies, and tell their own story with evidence.
