What Is the Renzulli Enrichment Database?

Quick answer The Renzulli Enrichment Database is a searchable library of 40,000+ curated, vetted, and standards-aligned activities that develop the durable skills students need — critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and self-direction. Each activity is automatically matched to the student’s Renzulli Profile based on their interests, learning styles, and expression styles. This strength-based approach ensures every student engages with content that builds on what they can do. Teachers can also search by subject, category, or standards alignment, and upload their own resources. Supports Portrait of a Graduate frameworks, gifted and talented programming, MTSS enrichment, and career readiness initiatives.

Renzulli Learning provides a safe and personalized way to deliver web content to all students so they can pursue their interests and complete challenging, interesting work. By matching students with enrichment activities based on each student’s unique Renzulli Profile — focusing on interests, learning styles, and expression styles — student engagement and achievement increase.

The initial selection of enrichment activities was completed with a group of enrichment and classroom teachers and directly overseen by Drs. Sally Reis and Joseph Renzulli, the founders of the platform. All activities are vetted by a team of specialists in the field of education — teachers, administrators, and curriculum specialists with advanced degrees and years of experience. Activities must pass an extensive criteria assessment for safety, age-appropriateness, and educational quality before being added to the database.

What Students Experience

Move from passive recipients to active investigators — activities are designed to engage students as explorers, creators, and problem-solvers, not just consumers of information.
Experience richer, more meaningful learning — a personalized mix of activities matched to their strengths means students engage more deeply and stay more motivated.
Develop self-regulation through self-directed learning — students build executive function skills by choosing, exploring, and managing their own enrichment pathways.
