Quick answer

Setting up Renzulli Learning takes about an hour and follows four steps: (1) introduce the platform to your students, (2) register them via SSO, upload template, or manually, (3) log them in through SSO or directly, and (4) have them take the Renzulli Profiler (EZ-Read for Grades K-4, Standard for Grades 5-12; Pre-K, K, and Grade 1 are auto-bypassed).

Introduce Your Students to Renzulli Learning

Get students excited to start using Renzulli Learning. Use any or all of the following resources before your first class session:

Register Your Students

If your school or district has not already registered your roster, Renzulli Learning offers three ways to get students into the system. Pick the one that fits your situation:

Option 01

Integrate with your Single Sign-On (SSO) service

Renzulli Learning integrates with Clever, ClassLink, GG4L, and more. Your district IT team contacts us once and your roster syncs automatically.

For Google Sign-In: students must be registered using their Google username via Option 02 or Option 03.

Option 03

Register a few students manually

If you only need to add a handful of students or teachers, you can register them by hand directly through the teacher site.

For larger groups, Option 02 is significantly faster — fill out the upload template and we'll handle the rest.

Not sure which registration option fits your school? Call us at +1 (203) 680-8301 — we'll walk through it together.

Log Students In

Students access Renzulli Learning two ways: through your school's SSO provider, or directly through the Renzulli Learning login page.

Through a single sign-on (SSO) service

Google Sign-In

If students were registered with their Google account username, they sign in by clicking the Google Sign-In button. They must already be signed into their Google account or know their Google username and password.

Directly through Renzulli Learning

If students know their Renzulli Learning username and password:

If students have a Student Access Code from their teacher:

Have Students Take the Renzulli Profiler

The Renzulli Profiler builds a strength-based profile of each student's interests, learning styles, and expression styles. Students complete it online, typically in 15–25 minutes.

Two grade-appropriate versions

  • Grades K-4: the EZ-Read Profiler uses simpler reading-level language and audio-supported items.
  • Grades 5-12: the Standard Profiler covers the full set of interest, learning-style, and expression-style dimensions.
About Pre-K, Kindergarten, and Grade 1: these students are automatically bypassed past the Profiler and brought directly into Renzulli Learning with age-appropriate resources for all interest areas, learning styles, and expression styles. If you want a younger student to take the Profiler anyway, go to the Teacher Site → My StudentsManage Students and un-bypass that student.

Getting Started — Frequently Asked Questions

Most K-12 teachers can be up and running in under an hour. The four steps are introducing the platform to students, registering them (via SSO, upload template, or manual entry), logging them in, and having them take the Renzulli Profiler.

Renzulli Learning integrates with Clever, ClassLink, GG4L, and Google Sign-In, among others. Call +1 (203) 680-8301 to set up SSO integration. For Google Sign-In, students must be registered with their Google username via the upload template (Option 02) or manual registration (Option 03).

Students in Pre-K, Kindergarten, and Grade 1 are automatically bypassed past the Profiler and brought directly into Renzulli Learning with age-appropriate resources for all interest areas, learning styles, and expression styles. Teachers can un-bypass the Profiler for individual students through the teacher site under My Students > Manage Students.

The EZ-Read Profiler is designed for students in Grades K-4 and uses simpler reading-level language and audio support. The Standard Profiler is designed for students in Grades 5-12. Both produce a strength-based profile of student interests, learning styles, and expression styles.

Yes. Download the Teacher and Student upload templates above, complete them with your roster, and email the files to [email protected]. The Renzulli Learning team will upload your students for you, typically within one business day.

Teachers can issue a Student Access Code that allows students in Grades 5-12 to self-register and access the Standard Profiler. Detailed instructions are in the Logging Students In section above — see the "Self-Registration with Access Code" PDF.
